Lewis Ginter Recreation Center

Our home for all 15 editions of Jammin', the Lewis Ginter Recreation Center is in the beautiful Ginter Park Historic District at the corner of Walton and Hawthorne Avenues. It was originally built as a town hall and schoolhouse in 1906 and has wood floors throughout. The workshops and dances will be held in the second-floor auditorium, in the gymnasium, and in the intimate Ginter Room.

The Dance Space

The Dance Space is home to Richmond's regular Saturday night swing dances. It has one of the best floor surfaces in town (buttery bamboo) and will provide the perfect atmosphere for late night. The Dance Space is in the strip mall above Mekong Restaurant. Look for the door next to the wall with all the mailboxes and go up the stairs.
